A meeting between non-governmental organizations and mass media is to be held in the Horizonti Foundation meeting room on Friday 13th February 1430-1530, supported by the United States Public Relations Section. The topic of the meeting is “Expected Constitutional Changes”.
Lawyers, NGOs working on legal issues, and other representatives of the Third Sector are invited to participate in an open discussion with journalists about expected constitutional changes, including launching the institution of “Prime Minister” in Georgia and its impacts. During the discussion we will address issues related to the fight against corruption and the methods to be used, as well as other legal initiatives taken by the government.
These are core issues today and are being discussed by all Georgians. Hence we believe that your participation in this discussion is important. We believe the whole Third Sector and Media have the civil responsibility of creating open and democratic means of discussion during this important period of Georgian political history.
Those who would like to give a two-minute speech at the meeting please contact Manana Dumbadze before February 12,2004 at tel: 332816/17/18, e-mail: inform@horizonti.org.
