What we do

We award grants

for developing local communities in Georgia


We work with communities

To find solutions to problems through supporting groups of socially active citizens;
To ensure the active participation of the community in working out strategic development plans for specific regions in Georgia.

We conduct research

Public opinion pools
Interviews
Focus groups
In order to examine the current social-economic developments and identify the most urgent problems facing communities

with the participation of the representatives of:
Community
NGOs
Local experts
Governmental authorities
Private sector

We provide training sessions and awareness raising meetings

on pressing issues of local communities, prospects for development and the purpose of community based organizations and project writing

We consult

About methods of obtaining information on local community development concepts and working out strategic plans, and about writing and developing projects to be submitted to the Horizonti Foundation.

For whom we do this

For all interested in community development problems: local population, NGOs, representatives of the government, business, the Third Sector, mass media, educational and research institutions in Tbilisi, as well as in Georgia’s regions

To ensure active involvement in the community concerning important decision-making and implementation
