From February 10, 2003 the Horizonti Foundation in cooperation with Virtual Foundation Program announce submission of grant proposals for the Program entitled “Fundraising Through Internet.”
The organizations willing to participate in the competition should present the project proposals at the office of the Horizonti Foundation until April 30, 2003.
The project should be submitted in electronic format in English and in Georgian.
General Requirements
The NGOs working in any direction and being registered according the active legislation of Georgia are eligible to participate in the competition.
The project presented by the NGO should be in compliance with the goals and objectives stated in the by laws of the organization.
Main directions of the program are:
• Environment;
• Human Rights Protection;
• Sustainable Development.
General Informational Section of the Project should include the following:
• Project name;
• Name of local organization submitting the proposal;
• Contact information of local organization submitting the proposal (address, tel, fax, e-mail);
• Name of project director/coordinator;
Narrative Section should include the following:
• A brief description of the project goals;
• A brief description of the methods of implementing the project goals;
• Expected outcomes;
• Project duration, timeframe;
• Detailed budget (in USD).
The proposal text should not exceed 2 pages.
The requesting amount should not exceed 1000 USD.
• To better illustrate the project idea the proposal should include visual materials (photos, drawings, maps etc.)
• Priority will be given to the projects with concrete outcome
• Research proposals, such as investigative studies or projects to simply describe the existing problems will not be accepted.
