Foundation for the Third Sector

The Horizonti Foundation is providing training for different types of NGOs at various stages of organizational development. These training programs and outreach activities are specifically designed to address the needs of Georgian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Community based organizations (CBOs), groups intending to create NGOs, and many other international organizations that are working in Georgia. A staff of experienced and professional trainers provides the training. We are able to present our services in Georgian, Russian and English. The range of our services is aimed at satisfying different needs and varying degrees of needs of our clients. The type and length of training programs can be designed on the specific training requirements.

Program participants will be introduced to the important theoretical concepts of the presented material. Various teaching methods and resource materials are used to reinforce the information. The varying teaching methods allow the maximum benefit for all participants in the learning process. Examples are provided from real life experiences and case studies are used in combination with varied and innovative teaching methods such as role-playing, brainstorming and discussing the problems in an interactive environment.

Programs are intentionally designed where the participants will actually be able to apply what they have learned to real life situations. The home organization benefits by its staff members return with skills with immediate applications to the job.
